QUALITY AND CLINICAL GOVERNANCE STANDARDS

Quality and clinical governance standards are the backbone of everything we do in the delivery of our services. Our quality team continually update their knowledge and keep abreast of developments, changes in legislation and best practice.

To ensure best practice and reduce any risk of litigation for ourselves and our clients, PAM adheres to recognised professional, ethical and legal standards of practise. Furthermore, our quality system has been accredited to meet the standards of the EAP Association, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and IIP; these act as our quality foundation, which means clients can take confidence in the standards that we adopt. See below for more information about our accreditations.

OUR ACCREDITATIONS

EAP Association

PAM Assist, our EAP business, has acheived registered membership status with The UK Employee Assistance Professionals Association, having met strict criteria relating to EAP standards, professional practice and delivery.

The UK EAPA was established in 1998 and follows EAPA global standards that are adapted local to the UK market; this makes the UK EAPA Standards of Professional Practice the only credible set of standards to which EAP providers operate.

The Association represents the UK EAP industry to government and other professional bodies.

ISO 9001 Quality Management

ISO 9001 helps us to effectively manage our business and meet our client’s requirements. ISO 9001 is the International Standard for Quality Management Systems. It is the most widely used way of demonstrating to clients that we are committed to our service and have been assessed accordingly.

ISO 27001 Information Security Management

Occupational health deals with large amounts of personal and medical information. Given our embrace of systems we therefore recognise the need to provide confidence to our clients that our systems are secure and support our operations.

ISO 27001 is the International Standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It allows both us and our clients to take confidence in the information security measures that we employ. This includes the continued accessibility, confidentiality and integrity of our own information and that of our clients as well as legal compliance.

Investors in People

Occupational health is a people-driven business; we therefore rely on the quality output and performance of our staff in order to provide high quality services to our clients. To achieve this PAM invests extensively in our people through continued professional development.

In order to ensure that our approach and practices are aligned to best practice, and are effective, we have undergone a comprehensive project of assessments and audits carried out by Investors in People – who are the UK’s leading people management standard, specialising in transforming business performance through people.
